The Town of Morehead City is Soliciting Bids for the following project:
Phase I – Debris Clearance and Phase II – Debris Removal Contracts
Invitation to Bid
The Town of Morehead City is currently accepting bids for Phase I – Debris Clearance and Phase II – Debris Removal of Vegetative and C&D (construction and demolition) debris for the anticipated tropical, winter and Nor’easter storm seasons through June 30, 2015. Bidders Instructions and Proposal Forms may be obtained from the Town of Morehead City, 706 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557, or by contacting David McCabe at (252) 726-6848(252) 726-6848 ext. 120. Sealed bids will be addressed to David McCabe, Public Works Director and marked appropriately as either “IMMEDIATE RESPONSE – DEBRIS CLEARING” or “PHASE II – DEBRIS REMOVAL CONTRACT” at 706 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557. Deadline for submittable of bids will be 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at which time the bid opening and reading will take place in a conference room made available in the Town Hall. Interested parties are recommended to attend the Pre-bid Conference scheduled at 10:30AM on Monday, April 21, 2014, also in a conference room of the Town Hall. The Town Council will make the selection during the next scheduled meeting, following which the selected bidder will be notified.
The Town of Morehead City reserves the right to reject any or all project proposals.
